Founder’s Day Luncheon was on Sunday, April 15th. Some lucky ladies went to Evanston, IL, and visited with the lovely alumna from the Chicago area. All of them were charming little ladies and one of them was even initiated by founding member, Bertha, herself!

We recently held our first annual Puzzlepalooza! I would have to say that for our FIRST event, it went extremely well. :) We raised over $1000 for Autism Speaks! A big thank you to the 20 teams who participated, without their help we wouldn’t have had such a great philanthropy fundraiser.

Several girls from the chapter participated in Relay For Life, a cancer fundraising event, which happens to be one of DePaul’s more well-known fundraisers. It was a fun 12 hours that involved walking around The Ray Recreational Center’s track, and enjoying the many snacks, entertainment, and ceremonies! Since the event is for a great cause, AXiD will be participating in future years.
